Beachy

Natural Hair at the Beach As summer draws to a close, I find myself making one last ditch effort to get to the beach. No one wants to spend their final days in the sun worrying about their hair. Here's a quick and easy regimen to keep your final days of fun in the sun, simply carefree fun.

  1. Wear a protective style. One that protects your ends and allows for minimal sun exposure
  2. Pre-poo! Coating the hair with a cheapie conditioner and your favorite staple oils will ensure that the salt in the sea water doesn't lead to dry crunchy hair.
  3. Upon leaving the beach, without removing your protective style, rinse your hair completely with water. Allow the water to flow freely. This will help to loosen any sand or grit that may have dried in the hair or on the scalp.
  4. After rinsing your hair, carefully, take down your protective style and clarify your scalp and hair with a poo of your choice.
  5. Lastly DC and style to your liking.
Summer's almost over, so get out there Nappatrualistas and soak up the last of the summer sun!
